vivo starts the new year with a bang as they launch their X90 series flagship phones worldwide. The line-up includes the vivo X90 and X90 Pro touted to have exceptional gaming performance and ZEISS-powered cameras.

While the main attraction of the pair is certainly its advanced camera system, you can’t count out vivo’s V2 chip. The new chip is an upgrade over the company’s own V1 and V1+ back in 2021. Both the X90 and X90 Pro are equipped with what vivo is calling a “dual flagship setup”. Apart from vivo’s V2 chip the pair also has MediaTek’s Dimensity 9200. Other than that, we’re getting Extended RAM 3.0 granting up to 8GB of virtual RAM as well as UFS 4.0 + MCQ and UFS Deep Defragmentation.

Handling the display is a 6.78-inch Ultra Vision Eye Protection Screen. A 3D curved screen with 1.07 billion colors, 100% DCPI-P3 wide color gamut, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, SGS low blue light, low motion blur, low flicker, and AI low blue light certifications. Lastly, we have a Dual Stereo Speaker for audio and an X-Axis Linear Motor for tactile feedback in gaming. Pricing and availability for the X90 series in the Philippines are yet to be announced.
