One of the new announcements this Game Awards is Loop Hero!
Loop Hero, from developers Four Quarters and Publisher Devolver Digital, is one massive salute to RPGs of old. Featuring retro-inspired visuals with mixed gameplay. The game will come out on PC via Steam next year, 2021.
Loop Hero despite its old-school visuals is actually quite a modern title. The game is a mix of RPG, Base Building, and Cards. Players choose from various unlockable classes and deck of cards before setting out on a looped expedition. Hence the name of the game, so expect that each expedition is a different experience. Upgrade your camp and loot gear as you progress along to ultimately defeat the Lich and break the time loop. You can wishlist the game now over at Steam as we await a definitive release date.
