Far Cry 6 will be free this weekend running across all platforms for three days. Apart from that, it will have a crossover mission with the hit Netflix series Stranger Things.
Starting March 24-27, 2022, Far Cry 6 will be free on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC through the Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store. Players can preload the game on March 22, 2022 12 PM PT on PC and PlayStation platforms. The game also includes all free downloadable content and are playable in co-op.
Players can keep the progress they made during the free weekend. If they decide to fully purchase the game, they have discounts per platform too during this time.
- Ubisoft Store: Starting today until the end of March, players will have a 50% off as part of the Spring Sale.
- Xbox: From March 24-28, players can get 50% off all editions of the game, as well as 35% off the Season Pass.
- PlayStation: From March 23-30, players can get 50% off the Standard and Gold editions of Far Cry 6. A 35% off the Season Pass, as part of PlayStation Store’s Deal of the Week.
- Epic Games Store: As part of the Epic Spring Sale, players can get 50% off the Standard, Gold, Deluxe, and Ultimate editions of the game. There is also a 35% off the Season Pass. The Epic Games Store is also offering 35% off the Vaas: Insanity DLC, and 25% off the Pagan: Control DLC.
- Stadia: From March 24-31: 50 percent off the Standard, Gold and Ultimate Editions of the game, and 35 percent off of the Season Pass. From now until March 31: 40 percent off of the Deluxe Edition.
Lastly, Far Cry 6 will have a Stranger Things crossover mission on March 24, 2022 called The Vanishing. It brings a stealth-horror-survival gameplay experience to players along with new characters and new lore. They will be able to explore Stranger Things-inspired locations, such as a hidden bunker and an abandoned laboratory. Dani’s mission grants new skins for a flamethrower and shotgun.
