Dell is adding a thin and light gaming laptop to their portfolio with the Alienware x14!

Dell is finally giving in and providing its fans an Alienware that’s not only powerful but also sexy. Meet the Alienware x14, currently the thinnest gaming laptop in the company’s line-up.

The x14 isn’t just Alienware’s thinnest laptop to date it’s also the first 14-inch in its line-up in a while. Under the hood, you’re getting up to a 12th Gen Core i7-12900H processor, Up to Nvidia’s RTX 3060 graphics card, 32GB of RAM, and up to 2TB of SSD storage. While we do get 32GB RAM out of the box, it’s important to note that both slots are soldered. So sadly, there is no easy option for RAM upgradeability or expansion. As for the display, Dell is boasting that this is the world’s first 14-inch laptop to support Nvidia’s G-Sync and Advanced Optimus technology.

Meaning, users no longer have to decide what to prioritize between performance and battery life. Previously, Nvidia’s Optimus is not compatible with their G-Sync technology. Optimus is a feature that automatically switches between discreet or internal graphics depending on a machine’s load. So then users had to either disable G-Sync or Optimus as they won’t work in tandem. As for display specs, we’re getting a 14-inch Full HD 144Hz, 7ms panel with Comfort View Plus and the aforementioned G-Sync support. The Alienware x14 will be available this Q1 2022 starting at $1,799 (~Php 92,195).
