The most-awaited NieR mobile adaptation, NieR Re[in]carnation, is almost here!
After a very successful past few months of spreading word and opening pre-registrations, Square Enix is almost ready to open the doors to their latest mobile game project. This one is of course the mobile “incarnation” of NieR dubbed NieR Re[in]carnation.
The game is set in the same world as NieR and its sequel NieR: Automata also known as The Cage. In Reincarnation players take control of the Girl of Light, accompanied by a ghost-like being. Explore different areas of The Cage to acquire and upgrade weapons to fight enemies within unlocked memories. In memories, players experience the “memories” of the weapon they wield in a side-scrolling environment. Combat takes place as players encounter enemies in these memories. The battles itself is in real-time where players control 3 characters manually or in full auto.
One thing to take note of though is that Reincarnation is a Gacha game. Yep, it uses that infamous system of energy and pulling from a random pull. In this case our Gacha Pool are additional characters and weapons. NieR Re[in]carnation is now up for predownload on both the Apple App Store and Google PlayStore. Servers open in the afternoon of July 28th (PDT). Download links below:
