Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Dawn of Ragnarok let’s you become a god!
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla took Eivor all over Norway, England, Ireland, and Francia. Now, two more destinations will be added to that list. Eivor will embark on a new adventure in the upcoming expansion “Dawn of Ragnarok”. Then players also get to experience a crossover stories event as part of a free update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Odyssey.
Dawn of Ragnarok focuses entirely on Norse Mythology. The story seems to focus on events after the Asgard and Jotunheim arcs found in the main campaign. For the purpose of saving his son Baldr, held captive by the fire giant Sutr, Odin the All-Father goes to the dwarven realm of Svartalfheim. Meaning players will now control Odin in full. Instead of having him take the form of Eivor.
As such, they’ll have access to the godly powers of the All-Father. Including shapeshifting and absorbing the abilities of anyone they beat. Players will be facing enemies of both fire and ice in the form of the Jotnars and Muspels. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Dawn of Ragnarok will launch on March 10, 2022. It will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Stadia, and Amazon Luna. You can pre-purchase the expansion now over at the Ubisoft store.
