From Indie Game Studios to our regular big guns. These ESGS 2019 exhibitors will not disappoint!

Tomorrow, Oct.25, marks the first leg of the 2019 Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit (ESGS). A yearly affair by Gariath Concepts, bringing together a band of brands, merchants, presenters, and entities of the local and international gaming scene. This year we got some returning fan favorites and interesting new comers. So, if you’re heading to the triple day header this weekend and don’t know which booths to visit or prioritize, then we got you covered. Here are the Exhibitors to look out for in ESGS 2019.

The Big Boys (Major Exhibitors)

Now, it will come to no surprise that the big entities of the gaming world will make an appearance in one of the largest gaming summits of the year. So, expect the big brands such as ASUS ROG, Acer Predator, Lenovo Legion, and MSI to be present on the show floor. Either way, they’ll be hard to miss as these brands have taken away huge chunks of the event space, and we mean “huuuge”. They are not just there to announce their presence in the gaming community though. Each and every brand will also showcase their latest offerings to the public.

Meaning, this will be the best chance for you to test out their latest devices. From peripherals all the way up to gaming laptops and desktops. All of these will be available for tinkering and testing. To cap it all off, some of these brands will be holding major sales for their products. Acer Predator is one, with up to 50% off on select Predator devices and daily Happy Hour events, which will see items raffled off. These brands are definitely a go-to in any ESGS.

Peripherals Galore

Next up, the gaming world’s supporters or rather the brands that are dedicated to peripherals. While our big boys above have their own homegrown peripherals, we still have those who’ve dedicated their mind and body to the craft. ESGS 2019 has no shortages of these manufacturers, ranging from local to international.

We have the likes of Hyper X, Corsair, Red Dragon, Gamdias, Fantech, Razer, and more, who’ll be showcasing their creations. Now, most of these brands will also be holding their own ESGS price cut bonanzas. So, if you’ve been eyeing a peripheral upgrade for a while now, this is the best time. Of course, their products are also available for viewing and testing.

The Indies, Locals, and Classics

ESGS is a great platform to spread awareness about your items as well as creations, such as games. This is why we also have big names on the floor like Capcom, Gumi, and Kojima Productions. However, this year, we’re getting a lot more Indie and Local representation. Making a return is local indie developer Ranida Games, the makers of the solid fighting game, Bayani. They will once again showcase their masterpiece to the general public. Then we have a newcomer to the event, who’s yet another local entity, Keybol Games. A company that has gained international recognition thanks to their creations — Grand Guilds and Jack Axe. Although, they have far more offerings than just those two.

Another of their creations (Tower Tales), along with their two renowned titles, will be available for play testing during the event. So, don’t miss the opportunity of trying these gems out. Plus, they’re handing out game codes and other prizes if you win or participate in their booth activities. We also have an Underground Arcade area, where several games from other indie developers are showcased, dubbed Indie Fiesta. Then we have Play Park, better known for their hit classic MMO Flyff. Although, they’re showcasing their newer offerings this time around but it’s nice to see that they are still alive and kicking,

The One, the Only — Nintendo Switch

esgs 2019

Nintendo finally has some representation in the Philippines courtesy of Max Soft as we have an official Nintendo Switch Exhibit. While this isn’t Nintendo themselves, Max Soft is the one handling SEA distributions, so it’s as close as we can get to the real thing. Now, their booth has several switch units showcasing the latest titles from the past month or two, ready for play and enjoyment. Max Soft will also be holding two presentations, one on the first day (Oct.25) and one on the last day (Oct.27). We’re excited to see what surprises they might have in store for us.

That’s it!

Of course, there are other exhibitors you can take a look at during your visit to ESGS. We still do have merchants where you can get neat loot from such as stickers, keychains, pins, collectibles, and even board games. Don’t worry though, we’ll also be featuring these merchants as well as the other fun things you can do while roaming the halls of ESGS 2019. So, stay tuned for those.
