vivo is once again tapping into the gaming market with their announcement of the vivo Y22s. An affordable mobile device with a focus on game-centric features and hardware.
Under the hood of the Y22s is Qualcomm’s mid-range Snapdragon 680 CPU, Adreno’s 610 GPU, up to 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. For the display, we have a 6.5-inch HD+ screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. Lastly, to maintain operation the phone is armed with a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
The Y22s isn’t just a gaming phone because of its specs but also because of some of its features. While there are no extra hardware buttons, vivo did include an ultra game mode for the device as well as up to 16GB of dynamic RAM (virtual) and extended storage expansion of up to 1TB. Oh, and it also has IP54 dust and water resistance.
The vivo Y22s is available nationwide in two variants. One comes with 8GB RAM plus 128GB storage for PHP 12,999 while the other has 4GB of RAM with the same 128GB storage for PHP 10,999. The phone is also available through Home Credit and Credit Card plans where customers who buy the 8GB variant have a chance to win a limited edition Bluetooth neckband earphones.
