21 years after its release, Silent Hill 2 is finally getting a much-needed remake. Featuring the same thrilling story that made it one of the best horror games, as well as video games in general, of all time.

All we’re getting for now is a juicy teaser you can watch above. We have way better visuals than the initial release as the game is now built with Unreal Engine 5. Apart from the improved looks, we’re also, of course, getting some new music arrangements courtesy of Akira Yamaoka. Who happens to be the composer of several of the Silent Hill titles.

Partnering with the Konami production team is Bloober Team, a studio known for horror games such as Blair Witch and The Medium. The game will release on the PlayStation 5 as well as PC. In fact, we already have store pages for both. Sadly, no reveal or announcement yet for the official release date but we’ll be sure to keep our eyes peeled.
