ROG is looking to break the limits of refresh rates on monitors as they announce the Swift 500Hz. The new flagship from the republic will not only have such a refresh rate but also E-sports ready features.

Swift 500Hz

The ROG Swift 500Hz, as the name suggests, now has the world’s fastest refresh rate at 500Hz. This marks ROG’s 4th time getting ahead of the refresh rate race. First was in 2012 with a 144Hz 1080p gaming monitor, followed by a 240Hz Nvida G-Sync one. Then lastly, just in 2020 the first ever 360Hz gaming monitor. Now, the 24.1-inch FHD Swift 500Hz utilizes an Esports-TN or E-TN panel. This gives it shorter response times than the standard TN. Apart from that the monitor also features G-Sync compatibility, Nvidia Reflex Analyzer, lower input latency, and reduced motion blur. We’ve yet to have an official release date and price but we’ll sure to keep an eye out.
