Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 called Resistance landed on the battlefield bringing new features, skins, game mechanics, and gameplay. The story follows up on the Resistance as they engage in the final battle to free the Zero Point.
This season introduces Mantling, a movement to pull players up using their hands on elevated places like buildings. It also has a newsprint meter giving players a short burst of speed. Meanwhile, the game implemented faster overall movement. Lastly, Fortnite players can now open doors forcefully via Shoulder Bashing while sprinting.
Another new feature is Overshield where players can add 50 more shield points on top of the maximum achievable shield and health. Apart from this, the game added three new weapons namely: Combat SMG, Striker Burst Rifle, and The Repair Torch. Players can also vote between heavy turrets or light turrets to be installed in vehicles.
Finally, new skins, featuring Doctor Strange from the Marvel universe, join the Fortnite character list as well as the following:
- Tsuki 2.0
- Gunnar
- The Imagined
- Kiara K.O.
- The Origin
- Erisa
- Prowler (Unlocked in the new Battle Pass)
