The Dying Light HyperMode event returns after 4 years in the depths. This time, a new weapon awaits players when they reach certain community goals. The event starts November 25th, 2021 at 5:00 pm UTC and ends on December 1st, 2021 at 5:00 pm UTC.
Dying Light’s developers, Techland, announced the personal and community goals that each player must reach along with the rewards that await:
- Personal Goal
- Kill 100 zombies with Bare Fists
- Reward: Gold Random Baseball
- Community Goal
- Kill 20 000 000 zombies with Bare Fists
- Reward: Gold Spectral Baseball
The Gold Spectral baseball bat changes color depending on the time in the game. During the day, it will have a color pink glow, while at night it changes to blue. Lastly, this weapon retains its “Hypermode Kick” which makes zombies fly and push back further than normal kicks can.
