Persona series composer Shoji Meguro has just announced that he will be leaving Atlus to work on an indie video game.

JRPG fans best know Shoji Meguro for his work on the soundtrack of the Persona series. He joined Atlus back in 1995 and has served as the main soundtrack composer for Persona 3 to 5. In the announcement video, Meguro mentioned that he will continue working with Atlus for future titles. However, he will be leaving his full-time post at the company to work on a soon-to-be-released indie game. He will unveil more information on November 6 at the Indie Game Expo.
