We’re not even a year in with the release of Monster Hunter Rise but we’re already getting some massive news. Fresh from September 2021’s Nintendo Direct is Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.
Sunbreak comes with a slew of new content including a new story, new locales, new monsters, and an all-new gameplay mechanic. What we have above though is just a glimpse of what is to come by Summer 2022. More details will be revealed in TGS (Tokyo Game Show) 2021. Although given Capcom’s track record we will likely see the coveted G-rank quests and monsters with this expansion.
Another interesting tidbit is that not only will it launch on the Switch but also on Steam. So, Rise is finally coming to PC after a year of waiting. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for more reveals in the coming weeks leading up to TGS. So, stay tuned!
