This ain’t an April Fools joke, we’re getting some free spicy games for PS Plus this month!
Another month means another set of free games for those with an active PlayStation Plus subscription. For April we have Oddworld: Soulstorm, Days Gone, and Zombie Army 4: Dead War. Subscribers can grab these titles starting April 6th up until May 3rd. Europe, Asia, and US subscribers have the same free games for April 2021 except for a few in Asia but all will have Days Gone as well as Oddworld.
First up let’s take a look at the star of the show, Days Gone. One of the big releases back in 2019, the game is set in a post-apocalyptic Oregon two years after the start of a global pandemic. Players take control of Deacon St. John as he goes on a quest to look for her Wife, who he discovers might still be alive. The game is played on a third-person perspective as players explore an open world environment and make use of crafting and stealth to ward off enemies.
Next up we have Oddworld: Soulstorm, a game that’s actually not yet out. This one releases on April 6th, the same day the PS Plus April party becomes available for download. The game is a continuation of 2014’s Oddworld: New ‘N’ Tasty, bringing back Abe who has become an unlikely hero and beacon of hope. Oddworld retains its platformer status as players solve puzzles and scavenge goods in a 2.5D colorful world. However, only the PS5 version is free for this one.
Last but not least, we have Zombie Army 4: Dead War. Once again players take on Hitler’s horde of Nazi Zombies in this weird yet satisfying shooter. One to four players can join hands as they traverse 1940’s Europe saving mankind from undead Armageddon. Continue the history of the Zombie Army Trilogy, a spin-off of Sniper Elite, with new levels and areas.
To grab these games for free this April, get yourself a PS Plus subscription. One of the best shops to easily grab one is over at CDKeys. Happy gaming guys!
