Set 100 years before the Breath of the Wild story, Age of Calamity takes the Hyrule Warriors series back in time!

The Legend of Zelda Musou series is getting a new title in the form of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

Age of Calamity will finally paint us a picture of what transpired 100 years ago leading to Link’s century sleep. The game brings us back to when Link and the great warriors of old fought against Calamity Gannon and his armies. Only this time we won’t be doing it the old RPG style. Instead we’re heading straight into battle in “Warriors” or “Musou” mode. Yep, we’re going to experience epic large scale battles as is necessary to tell the story of such a conflict.

Not only that but we’ll be able to play as Link, Zelda, the four warriors (Mipha, Daruk, Urbosa, and Revali) of old, and possibly more. We’re also getting the same beautiful visual treatment that we got in Breath of the Wild. Age of Calamity will feature local co-op and releases November 20th. The game is also now available for pre-order with a price tag of $59.99 (~Php 2,915). The Digital version comes with a special Lucky Ladle weapon bonus. You can pre-order here.
