240Hz refresh rate not enough? Then here’s the ROG Swift PG259QNR with 360!

The Republic of Gamers once again sits at the top of the food chain thanks to the ROG Swift PG259QNR. The newly minted gaming monitor is now one of the world’s fastest Nvidia G-sync compatible display thanks to a Full HD (1920 x 1080) 360Hz panel.

However, that’s not all that it offers as this one is jam packed with other features. Including Nvidia’s Reflex Latency Analyzer, Fast IPS Technology, a new ROG Desk Mount Kit, and of course G-Sync. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Nvidia’s Reflex Latency Analyzer. The program is basically a tool that measures the responsiveness of peripherals to the display or what we call “latency”. Effectively reducing latency as much as possible without the need of overly expensive 3rd-party tools. Sadly we’re not getting 4k but for all intents and purposes, you’ll need a mighty high-end rig to achieve 360Hz on that resolution. So, we think Full HD is just about right for the PG259QNR.

Then we have the ROG Desk Mount kit, allowing for a more flexible gaming space. Thanks to the mount kit, the PG259QNR can easily be clamped to any flat work surface. If in any case you want a more traditional mount, the kit also has a V-stand. We’ll also be getting a more affordable variant, the PG259QN, without the Reflex Latency Analyzer and the Desk Mount Kit. Both of these variants will come out in Q4 2020, pricing is yet to be announced.
