SINoALICE is a go!

Due to some company restructuring back in 2019, some of Nexon’s games screeched to a grinding halt. One of those was SINoALICE, whose release was supposed to have been in July of last year. Now that the restructuring seems to be over, the game is just about ready to finally make its debut. The official release date is now on July 1st, 2020.

Square Enix and Pokelabo representatives talking about the global launch!

Pokelabo, the original developers of the game, will now be managing global publishing. There’s also a new pre-registration website for the game. Don’t fret, Nexon will be transferring the initial pre-registration data over to Pokelabo. In lieu of the new release date, the game is now undergoing a ton of pre-release events dubbed the “100 days countdown”.

Right, so what are these events? Well, they’re social media activities. There are currently two missions available for the public, with the third dependent on the completion of the second. Lastly, a 2-part collaboration is now in place after launch. Initially, SINoALICE will have a collaboration with NieR: Automata. Now a second one is coming in the form of NieR Replicant. All of the event missions for these collaborations are written by Yoko Taro, creator of NieR, himself. Oh, and enjoy the new trailer below.
