Quite the free games for this week there Epic Games!
Epic Games is giving everyone a treat this Valentine’s week with their free titles. Starting today up until February 21st, Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Aztez are free of charge in the Epic Games Store.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance was released back in 2018 to generally favorable reviews from critics. The game had a storied history dating back to 2011, the year Warhorse Studios was funded. Kingdom Come then arrived on Kickstarter in 2014 to amass enough audience to merit its continued development. This eventually led to a successful campaign and its release on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. An action-role-playing game set in 1403 Bohemia, Kingdom Come tells the story of the war between Hungarian King Sigismund and his half-brother Wenceslaus IV.
As such, the game features 15th century weaponry, clothing, combat, and architecture. Apart from all those, we have an open world environment and branching quest lines. The player controls a classless character and has full customization over skill combinations, which culminates in roles such as warrior-focused, bard-focused, and so on.
Aztez, on the other hand, is a side-scrolling, turn-based strategy hybrid released back in 2017. Players return back in time to the Aztec era as they fight for control over its lands. Expand and maintain the Aztecs control over their empire through a traditional turn-based strategy system. Then fight off rebellions and invaders through a real-time side-scrolling beat ’em up system.
