That huge Stardew Valley update is finally here!
After months of silence, the Stardew Valley 1.4 update finally arrived. Although, it’s only available on PC, Mac, and Linux. Consoles and mobile will follow at a later date.
The 1.4 update brings a plethora of new features to the game, most notably the new Four Corners map, which introduces separate money management into the game. We have new events, new items, clothing options, a movie theater, and much much much more (check out the full changelog here). There are also a lot of tweaks and welcome changes in multiplayer such as a separate mailbox and spouse porch area. Yep, we finally won’t be waking up shocked to find our wives at the host house’s porch. Then we have a ton of quality of life changes, little tweaks that smoothen out overall gameplay experience.
Some things to take note of:
- 1.4 saves from PC won’t be compatible with Mobile, so be wary of transferring them.
- 1.3 Mobile saves transferred to PC will work but you won’t be able to transfer it back. Since the save will now be in the 1.4 format.
- Expect to encounter a few bugs here and there but ConcernedApe is quick on the fix. So, be sure to give him a heads-up when you encounter some.
