This is not the Half-Life 3 we’ve been looking for!
Valve just recently, although vaguely, announced a new Half-Life title — Half-Life: Alyx. Sadly, this isn’t the Half-Life game we’ve all been waiting for. Nonetheless, it’s still something to look forward to. Although, Valve only teased us with the title as the full game announcement is still a few days away.
We’re excited to unveil Half-Life: Alyx, our flagship VR game, this Thursday at 10am Pacific Time.

Fans have been clamoring for years for a follow-up to Half-Life 2: Episode 2, which was released way back in 2007. In fact, Half-Life 3 has since been a long-running joke and rumor mill headline among the gaming community. Looks like that will continue to be the case as Alyx is probably not a full-on sequel. Valve revealed not a peep about the new game though, except for the title, Half-Life: Alyx. This may or may not pertain to Alyx Vance, one of the characters of the series, who we last saw in that heartbreaking ending of Episode 2. The only information we know is that it will be the company’s flagship VR game. We’ll tune in on the announcement come Thursday (November 21) at 10 am PT (2 am, Friday, November 22, Manila Time).
