RuneScape Mobile has entered Member Early Access

Not to be confused with Old School RuneScape mobile

Finally, after several waves of first-come, first-serve Members only beta, RuneScape Mobile is finally ready for the general “Members” public. Although, only in Early Access, so expect bugs and glitches galore. This is yet again a closed access to those with the paid monthly subscription. Only this time, every member can now try it out, instead of racing each other for access. Sadly, the general public will just have to wait a little while longer.

For those of you who are hearing about RuneScape Mobile for the first time. It’s essentially the PC browser MMORPG optimized and minimized for the small screen. There are no major changes except for touch screen optimization and a few graphical tweaks. Jagex is even touting cross-platform support, meaning you can continue your progress regardless of the device your using. An impressive and convenient feature as you don’t need to create a new account to play on mobile devices or tablets.

Apart from the aforementioned members-only restriction, the game is currently only available on Android. So, iOS members will also have to sit back and wait for further announcements. Plus, Android devices must be running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow or higher to support the game. Early Access players do get a bonus, in the form of a Mobile Founder’s Pack, which features a Steel Panther Combat Pet and a Radiant Dawn Armour. For those members out there, here is the link to the app. As for the general populace, we’ll keep an eye out for further announcements.
