Now’s the time to try out Destiny 2!
Bungie’s futuristic FPS, Destiny 2, finally finished its transition to becoming an F2P (Free-to-Play) title. The game is now available to download for free on all supported platforms.
Released back in 2017 for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC, Destiny 2 serves as a sequel to Destiny and its subsequent expansions. The game features a wide variety of game modes but is mainly split into two game types — PvP (Player vs Player) and PvE (Player vs Environment). PvE itself has even more options, such as raids and strikes. Players are also thrust in an open-world environment, where they can roam planets and take on public events. Of course, there’s still the main story mission line.
Although, like any other game, we have a plethora of side missions and activities. This re-release of Destiny 2 as a free-to-play title is actually dubbed “New Light”. Apart from that, we’re also getting Shadowkeep today, the next big expansion for the game. Shadowkeep brings players back to the Moon, which was an area first introduced in Destiny.
