Summon your strength at the Predator League 2020 Philippine Qualifier!

For all those aspiring esports athletes out there, your time has come! Acer has officially opened online registration for the Philippine Qualifier stage of the Asia Pacific Predator League 2020. Here, players can band together with their fellow gamers to compete in a nation-wide esports tournament in the realms of Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) and Defense of the Ancients 2 (Dota 2).

The Philippine Qualifier stage will consist of two qualifying phases and the finals phase. Additionally, The winners of the final phase will represent the country in Predator League 2020. Phase 1 (Sept to Oct 2019) will serve as the PUBG regional qualifier while Phase 2 (Oct to Nov 2019) will serve as the Dota 2 regional qualifier. These phases will take place in 19 TNC cafes nationwide with the winners advancing to phase 3, the Philippine Grand Finals. The finals will take place from November 30 to December 1.

This year, Acer is upping the ante with a staggering Php 780,000 local prize pool that will be awarded to the top teams of each Phase. Moreover, the Philippines is hosting the 2020 Predator League. This means that the champions will get the opportunity to play in front of their loyal local fans. The Philippine representatives are also sure to gain international experience as they face teams from 16 other countries.
