Dragon’s Dogma Dark Arisen for Switch now available in the Philippines

Fight fabled monsters on the go in Dragon’s Dogma Dark Arisen for Switch!

Dragon’s Dogma Dark Arisen, the expanded version of Capcom’s hit 2012 RPG, Dragon’s Dogma, finally hits Philippine shores. As always, it’s available through the usual channels.

As a quick refresher, Dragon’s Dogma was released back in 2012 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game puts players in the shoes of the Arisen, as they explore the open world of Gransys. It’s played in a third-person perspective, with players able to choose between several vocations (Dragon’s Dogma’s class system). What made the game unique was the introduction of the “pawn” system, where three party members are controlled by AI (artificial intelligence).

The twist there is that two of the three other party members are actually characters of other players. Dark Arisen, on the other hand, is an expanded version of the original released a year after for the PS3 and Xbox 360. It added new content as well as an extra dungeon. Dark Arisen then went on to be ported to the PC and modern day consoles such as the PS4, Xbox One, and more recently the Nintendo Switch.

Dragon’s Dogma Dark Arisen for Switch is now available at DataBlitz for Php 1,495. Alternatively, you can pre-purchase the game via the Nintendo eshop for $29.99 (~Php 1,560), it releases tomorrow.
