The next chapter is here!

During the recently concluded State of Play livestream by Sony, the next component of the upcoming No Man’s Sky Beyond update was announced. The long-awaited feature, Virtual Reality will be coming to No Man’s Sky.

This feature will let you experience the beautiful open-universe of No Man’s Sky in the immersion of virtual reality. The update is not just a game mode, all the features and updates leading to the Beyond Update will be available for the VR portion of the game.

This includes building bases, using the terrain manipulator, as well as riding exocrafts (which now has first-person view, by the way). It will come as a free update to all existing owners of the game and will have full multiplayer support, whether or not the one you’re playing with is also on VR or not (pretty damn sweet!).

Combined with the addition of the MMO-Like feature, this might look like one of the most incredible VR games to date. Being the second component in the 3 part No Man’s Sky Beyond, we can look forward to yet one more major addition. What are your thoughts?
