This time as a standalone title!
Dota Auto Chess, the hit Dota 2 custom map that’s taking the world by a storm, is now getting a mobile version. Only this time, it no longer carries the “Dota” badge and is going solo, simply being called “Auto Chess”.
Chinese based developer Drodo Studio is taking the helm for the mobile transition. We’ve already discussed the possibilities and events that can happen if Dota Auto Chess splits from Dota 2 in one of our articles, including how the game works and what makes it so lovable. Simply put, we’re getting completely different heroes, items, maps, couriers, and more. It’ll be an entirely different looking game.
According to the devs, development of the Dota 2 map will still continue even after the release of the mobile version. So, don’t fret fans of the original. Auto Chess will release globally on Android and iOS and is now up for pre-registration. An official release date has yet to be announced.
